Responsibilities: 

Responsible for creating, analyzing, and maintaining all the municipal data for the City of Wetaskiwin.

Creating and updating various AutoCAD drawings for the Planning and Engineering department, which were later introduced into Geomedia or QGIS.

Creating, maintaining and documenting spatial information and tabula data to support various departments i.e. water utilities, waste-water utilities, storm sewer utilities, electrical utilities, protective services, public works, snow removal, engineering, maintenance, planning and development, permit licensing, cemetery, recreation services etc.

Maintaining, creating, and tracking various data with the use of Munisight’s mobile application, as well as training the staff on the use of the application.

Responsible for the GIS data stored and mentioned on the city’s PostgreSQL Server.

Designing digital maps with geographical data and other data sources.

Working with all the city departments to create, input and update asset management data.

Creating, updating, and deleting accounts with various user rights.

Administering aerial imagery contracts and collaborating with various companies to ensure the best results for the city.

Organizing and maintaining department records for large land assembly projects.

Working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including other department staff, partnering departments and contractors.

Assisting Planning and Engineering staff with team projects.

Collaborating and assisting the IT department with various tasks and projects.
